"It Was All Yellow"

Just imagine me in a fluoro yellow T.shirt...........

That's what I was wearing at work all swing. On the back of my shirt was printed "Sri Lanka, Cricket World Cup 2007 Losers" and in a love heart underneath read "I love Shane Warne".

Actually I didn't mind the writing as much as the awful colour of the shirt. Absolutely hideous!!!!!!!! According to a lot of people I was a good sport about it, but I guess if I made a fuss about it things would have been worse!!!! I have to wear it next swing too, due to Sri Lanka losing twice!!!!!!

I have one question for you girls, where is the travelling journal????????????

Jack Handy Thought For The Day: When I was a kid my favorite relative was Uncle Caveman. After school we'd all go play in his cave, and every once in a while he would eat one of us. It wasn't until later that I found out that Uncle Caveman was a bear.

The Land Of The Lions

Need I say more?? My Mum got this picture sent to her and I thought it might be a good idea to draw your attention to Malinga's hair.

Have a nice weekend!!!

Jack Handy Thought For The Day: Laurie got offended that I used the word "puke." But to me, that's what her dinner tasted like.

The Sexiest Cricketer????

Okay, so while I will be wearing an awful shirt in a couple of weeks, for a couple of weeks, I will go on to direct your interest to the following article I found. This was taken from 'The International News' website. You too, might have a raised eyebrow.

Malinga named the ‘sexiest cricketer’

COLOMBO: Though Sri Lanka ended up as the runners-up in the just-concluded World Cup but their young and fashionable pacer Lasith Malinga has been named the ‘The Sexiest Men In Cricket’. Players like former Windies ODI team skipper Brian Lara, England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff, Australian pacer Shaun Tait, Windies opener Chris Gayle, England batsman Kevin Petersen, Kiwi spinner Daniel Vettori and South Africa pacer Makhaya Ntini were the other players in the race. The Easy Magazine of the Sunday Sun newspaper of Barbados conducted the contest to pick the ‘Sexiest Men in Cricket’. The magazine’s panel described Malinga as — “With his eye-catching, blond-streaked curly hairdo, eyebrow ring and tattooed biceps, the unique 23-old strikes ‘Easy’ as the type who would be up for anything... and anywhere.” “The Sri Lankans have brought life to this World Cup with their exuberant, joyful cricket and none more so than the wild child, ‘Malinga the Slinga’,” it said. Malinga, with his unorthodox slinging action, was one of the few youngsters who shone in the World Cup claiming 18 wickets at an average of 15.77 in the eight matches that he played in the tournament. His best performance came in a Super Eights match against South Africa in which he had a hat-trick and ended with four wickets in four balls as Sri Lanka almost pulled off an improbable victory.

So, there you go!!! I was a little ashamed of Malinga's hair, but if other people like it, that's a-okay with me!!!!

Jack Handy Thought For The Day: Sometimes when I feel like killing someone, I do a little trick to calm myself down. I'll go over to the persons house and ring the doorbell. When the person comes to the door, I'm gone, but you know what I've left on the porch? A jack-o-lantern with a knife stuck in the side of it's head with a note that says "You." After that I usually feel a lot better, and no harm done.
