Pimpin' All Over The World....

Ah yes, not really!!!!

Hehehe, I knew that would get your attention. I will be going to Sri Lanka to plan my wedding (and Kasun's too) on the 7th Aug. I'm kind of looking forward to it, but I'm also a bit scared, because when I go it will be like "this is it!!!!" Ahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! I think I will be in for a big surprise and perhaps a few shocks as to what it takes to organise a wedding. So far, I have an exercise book which I have been slowly filling with my thoughts and ideas about what I want. I guess that's a start. It's a little hard when Kasun lives in Sydney too. My Dad will be coming with me and Kasun will be arriving a day after I do. So I will have support for when I start to stress/be unreasonable!!! Hehehe. I will accept any advice from anyone. Vids, do you have any tips?? I considered buying a book called 'How to Kill your Husband', but I guess you guys haven't got to that point yet!!! Hehehe, just kidding. Seriously, Vids, if you want to give me any tips that you found handy please do, I'm all ears!!!! How is everyone anyway?? I see that all is quiet on the blogging front. I have given up asking about the journal (BTW, where is it?????????????). I miss you all. Take good care.

Jack Handy Thought For The Day: The memories of my family outings are still a source of strength to me. I remember we'd all pile into the car - I forget what kind it was - and drive and drive. I'm not sure where we'd go, but I think there were some trees there. The smell of something was strong in the air as we played whatever sport we played. I remember a bigger, older guy we called "Dad." We'd eat some stuff, or not, and then I think we went home. I guess some things never leave you.

Allo allo sweet Anika,
Being a single girl, I have very little advice for you (not that you asked me!) except to say that there is nothing cheaper than a drunk bride so don't drink too much booze on the day :P

I can definitively say that I do not have the book! Alls good here - three weeks til I get the metal out of my ankle once and for all! Yippee.
Bye babe,
Mellie xx

Hi Anika. I have the travelling journal and I have located it after much heartache.
I want to make a comment about your previous post. I know that on weekends I really enjoy relaxing and doing very small things and pretty much hibernating because I find that during the working week, I'm dashing about madly so I enjoy chillaxing on Saturday and Sunday so I definitely understand what you mean. That said, I always have too many things to do on the weekends and they're definitely too short.

When are you getting married? How exciting planning a wedding. Remember to take it one step at a time, otherwise you might turn into bridezilla! Are your family helping you with the preparations?

Hey Anika... I haven't been here in ages... hence this realllyyy late (and probably useless) comment!

Don't stress... Trust me... everything falls into place and if things don't... you have all your life to remind Kasun about it :P

Lots of love,

Vidya
