Bargain Mate!!
Hello There,There is nothing BETTER (well, not much really) than getting a bargain!!! I see you all nodding away at your computer screens (make sure no one is watching you, or you will be accused of having the 'weird' gene). Well, my BARGAIN for the weekend was getting a cheap flight from Darwin to Sydney on the 26th June!!!! Yes, I was THRILLED, it only cost $99.00 plus tax which made it all up, $108.95. How good was that?? I kept checking the prices last week and the cheapest I could find was about $194.00, however, I kept putting off booking the ticket for some uknown reason (I now know this reason). I looked yesterday and found this little beauty and booked it straight away. I'm now waiting for the perfect time to book my ticket back from Sydney to Darwin. I consult the stars and moon each night, but to no avail, I guess I'll just have to keep looking on webjet.com.au Hehe. I'm VERY happy with my good buy.
On the other hand, I have had numerous experiences buying clothes and shoes full price only to find that next time I visit that same shop, they are selling for half price, and I still haven't had the opportunity to wear the item!!!!!!!!!!! Things that make you go ARGH!!!!
On the other hand (seeing as I now have 3), I am getting VERY EXCITED about coming to Sydney!!!!!!!!!!! Sure, my exam is on the 27th June, but after that, I get to see everyone!!!! I miss my dear Sydney friends heaps, you know who you are (yes, those who didn't FORGET my birthday). All the rest, well phuuh!!! *scoffs* I guess I'll see you guys as well.
Be sure to post comments about bargains you have all come across. Vidya, perhaps your Mum might like to add her 20Kg of potatoes for 20 cents??

hehe..love the Jack handy thought for the day!
Are you putting Canberra on your itinerary? Three cats! One looks like Gizmo, one looks like the panther out of the jungle book and the other is a pretty girl kitty who loves pats. You know you wanna come and visit Mel - we could even stalk Ridhish! hehe *evil laugh*
Aww Mel, I would love to come to Canberra!!! I'll see how things go, seeing as I'll be there for a week, and I would love to visit the Nation's Capital. If by chance, I don't get a chance to go there, is there ANY possibility the Canberra girl could come up to Sydney?? Make sure you bring all three cats and maybe even Ridhish. That way, there will be a cat for all the cat lovers, and a certain 'someone' for 'someone else'. What do you think??
I thought of that except that I would have been to sydney three weekends in a row then - but if you can't come down then I'll come up - I'd much prefer to see you then to be in canberra and not see you!
Awww, I'll decide my plans soon and let you know what's going on. Did you get my email??
Anika, did u know im almost across the road from Mel (Ngunnawal) and she still hasnt checked out my new house that i just bought a month back...:P ..how rude is she?!?!? make sure u give her a good yell :P ;)
- Ridhish
Anika, I'm so excited and I just can't hide it and I know, I know... Hmmm, sounds a little like a song. I'm looking forward to you heading back to Sydney and I'm trying to think of somethings we've got to do. By the way, could we, ummm, since this is once in a red moon, do our book spree thingey???
Yoomi
P.S I'd like to buy some new books (That's a hint by the way)
Umm... I would also like to add that by the same calculations as put forth by Mr. Arora, Mel is also "almost across the road" and Ridhish hasn't made an effort to even welcome Mel into the new city - which might I add has been home to the former for almost a decade! What kind of hospitality is that???
Anika: Where are you going to stay when you come here???
Now, now, children!!! I can see this is going to get ugly.
I will now text message both Rids and Mellie and force them to have lunch together today and let them talk about the fact that neither of them have been to each other's houses..........
Rids and Mellie, you should be ashamed of yourselves!!!!
Yoomi, I think a book spree sounds like a good idea. I have almost finished all the books I bought whilst in Sydney and heaven forbid I buy a book from DARWIN!!!
Hey! I'm almost certain that society states that the person living in the city first must make the effort - I wonder if that will occur this weekend - coincidentally the same weekend as a certain ex-mac uni student is coming to visit. Who'd have thought that'd happen!
I just opened a can of worms! Should stop digging my own grave! ;)! Mel, 10 Yuranigh Court Ngunnawal, why dont u come over sometime :D.
- R
Woohoo!! The peace treaty has been signed. All is now good and well in Canberra!!! I think two people were slightly confused/amused when they recieved messages about a certain lunch today. I'm glad I did the right thing!!!!
Ummm... its 1pm... and both f them are still at work! Anika... The treaty has been breached!
Goodness Gracious!!!!!! *Peter Styles style*
*laughs at 'Styles style*
That's it Mel and Rids.......have lunch with each other..........or else.........
Mel, the NT Nazi and the PHD bludger Nazi are harrasing me !...come by soon for coffee...im just "accross the road" ..infact if u are free after 730 tonight..come by! :D
- R
Hehe, thanks for the effort guys!!! Have an enjoyable night.
Lol... that was some work Anika. Give yourself a pat on the back! At least the Canberreans are speaking again :P
Yoomi
They did not meet tongiht either... Mel was at wrok till "late"!
why did you put '"late"' rather than 'late'?
Are you implying I'm lying? I'll say the same swear word as last night if you don't stop picking on me!
Mel, no more swearing in front of Vids!!!! She had enough of that last year, and now this year she is around someone who continually swears!!!
Though, we could do an experiment (a rather cruel one) and see how many times we have to swear in front of Vids to make her start swearing in front of her parents!!!!!
*evil laugh*
Who needs enemies when you ahve friends like these????
They are Jack Hammering under our building! The floor / mouse / keyboard/ omputer... its all vibrating!!
My "free pen" collection has risen to 5 pens :D
Lol, maybe we could conduct a 'psychology' experiment and we could stand to one side with our clipboards, analysing the situation... you know, sort of like we should have done when there were no free tables in the cafeteria... Ah, the good old days!
Mel, you should be careful about swearing in front of Vidya. Then again, I was the one who played Tupac giving her a lift home :P
Yoomi
*Sings California Love*
Yes, I have suggested the clipboard thing to a few people. In fact, I might just go and get one now from the stationary cupboard!! Hehe.
Vidya, to call it a 'collection' you need at least 6 pens, keep up your good work though!!
I will post again soon!!
I am sure I'll get a "Merck" pen tomorrow... so it will officially be a collection from tomorrow!!!
